The rum is a blend of rums from Barbados and Guyana, which are aged for 10 years in the Caribbean before being shipped to Jerez, Spain for a further 5 years of aging in American oak barrels that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry.\n \n This double-aging process gives Dos Maderas Luxus its unique flavor profile, which is rich, smooth, and complex. The rum has aromas of vanilla, molasses, dried fruit, and nuts, and flavors of vanilla, caramel, toffee, and chocolate. It is a full-bodied rum with a long, lingering finish.
