Riondo Prosecco Sparkling is a full-sparkling, Extra Dry Prosecco. Enjoy aromas of Golden Delicious apple, pear, and acacia blossom. It's fresh, fruity, and complex on the palate, followed by a light velvety body. There is persistent perlage that lasts.\n \n Producer Information\n Cantine Riondo is a sizeable Italian wine producer based in the northeastern region of Veneto. It is formed of over 2400 winegrowers that cultivate more than 6000 hectares (15,000 acres) of vineyards. The diverse portfolio includes regional wines from Verona to Venice and beyond, covering such titles as Prosecco, Valpolicella, Amarone and Soave. The company was founded in 2008 and today farms approximately 15 percent of all vineyards in Veneto. The dominant white grape varieties cultivated in these vineyards are Glera, Pinot Grigio, Garganega and Chardonnay, while Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Corvina stand out as the most widely planted red grape varieties. After harvest, the fruit is transported to one of six production facilities for processing and vinification. Grape varieties are vinified separately in one of the 2000 fermentation tanks, and aged in a number of different ways, often dictated by the wine style and denomination. The wines are then bottled under one of the company's five key brands: Riondo, Casa Burti, Casa Lunardi, Castelforte and i-Riondo. Riondo is the company's leading brand and takes its name from nearby Monte Riondo. This range is primarily devoted to DOC-classified sparkling wines made using the Charmat method, as well as several still, varietal wines. Sparkling wines are also produced for the Casa Burti label, which is named after the Burti family who founded the original company. The most iconic of the Veneto wines are covered by the Castelforte brand which includes Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella and Soave labels. The Casa Lunardi also devotes itself to still wines, featuring varietal Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon wines among its portfolio.
