Chardonnay “Grici” by Renato Keber is a white wine from Friuli whose elegant and graceful aromas represent a truly exciting calling card. What is striking is in fact the articulation of the bouquet , capable of harmoniously combining varietal touches with tertiary aromas released by the wood during aging. The “Grici” Renato Keber is a pure Chardonnay that originates from various parcels scattered within the Collio Friulano. Among the rows the chosen approach is organic, which bans the use of herbicides and systemic products. The terroir is characterized by the presence of sandstone marls, which form the “ponka” that dominates the scene in much of Friuli. After a brief maceration in contact with the skins, the must ferments in oak tonneaux. The final refinement phase is split into two, and involves first a 12-month maturation in tonneaux and then, once the refinement is complete, a period of one year to be spent in glass, before being put on the market.
The Chardonnay “Grici” wine by Renato Keber lights up the sight thanks to a purely golden color, with a beautiful intensity. The nose is layered, which evolves with a special complexity, telling a vortex of fruity and floral notes with a thousand nuances, in which sweet and honeyed references are also appreciated as well as more spicy nuances. On the palate it has a good structure, with a warm and velvety sip, which develops with a decidedly mineral taste . It closes with a finish with excellent persistence.
