Aromas of lemon, pineapple and nectarine are supported on the nose by subtle hints of Brioche, spice and oak and flavors of pear, tangerine and honeydew melon. Heady flavors of apple galette add a vein of richness. The texture is fleshy, vibrant and concentrated with juicy, yet balanced, acidity and a lingering finish.\n \n Producer Information\n La Crema is a producer based in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. Established in 1979, it is one of California's most consistent and well-known producers of Burgundian varieties including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as a more recent addition of Pinot Gris. Jess Jackson of Kendall-Jackson purchased La Crema in 1993, and the winery quickly gained a reputation for making quality wines at value prices. La Crema sources fruit from all over California, including the Anderson Valley in Mendocino, Russian River Valley, Los Carneros, Sonoma Coast, and from Monterey and Arroyo Seco on California's Central Coast. All of these regions are known for producing quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the wines are bottled by region. More recently, La Crema added Oregon's Willamette Valley to its roster. All wines are bottled regionally, and La Crema's most exclusive wines are the Nine Barrel Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, made from the best nine barrels from the Russian River holdings. La Crema's wines are rich and fruit-forward in style, and the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines see a significant amount of oak. The Pinot Gris is aged in stainless steel, allowing the ripe fruit flavors to shine through. The wines are readily available across the United States and are frequently encountered internationally.
