Indeed, it was through these shared interests that an already decades-long friendship between Ezio and Giorgio Rivetti of La Spinetta would become even more consolidated and, in the end, change the future of Ezio’s small family farm. Until 1994, only Moscato had been planted in the Cocito family vineyard in Neive, but after considerable deliberation and long talks with Giorgio, Ezio decided to finally replant the Moscato vineyard with the noble Piedmontese grape Nebbiolo.
