A light, bright and easy sipper, this is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It imparts aromas and flavors of green and yellow apple, lemon, lime, just-ripe pineapple and passionfruit, complemented with jasmine floral notes and just a hint of raw hazelnut.\n \n Producer Information\n \n Oak Ridge Winery is a Californian wine producer and is the oldest operating winery in Lodi. It is best known for its Zinfandel with several expressions offered under different labels, but also produces a collection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines. Oak Ridge releases wine under a number of different labels. Two of which, the single-vineyard Moss Roxx and the OZV (Old Vine Zinfandel) are used exclusively to sell varietal Zinfandel. These wines are sourced from vineyards with vines that are up to 100 years old. Other labels include Old Soul, Maggio, 3 Girls and Blazon. Different labels make wines designated from Lodi as well as the broader California appellation. The winery's philosophy is to produce quality wines of variety-specific character, but at accessible prices. The winery was built in 1934 and run as a cooperative before it was bought by the Maggio and Reynolds families in 2002. In 2010 the Dondero family joined as co-owners. Oak Ridge has more than 2500 acres (1011 hectares) of estate vineyards all in Lodi. A portion of which was helped along to AVA status by the cooperative's members in 1996. The winery is well-known in the area for its tasting room, which is in a converted 50,000 gallon redwood tank.
