It has an airy grace and delicate fleshiness. \n \n Producer Information\n Domaine Tortochot is wine producer based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin.The domaine specializes in wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety and is most recognized for its three premier cru wines produced from the renowned Lavaux-Saint-Jacques and Champeaux Premier Cru vineyards in Gevrey, as well as the Aux Charmes Premier Cru climat in Morey-Saint-Denis. Domaine Tortochot's wine portfolio also comprises four grand cru wines sourced from plots in the Le Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin and Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru vineyards. The Tortochot family has a viticultural history in Gevrey-Chambertin that goes back four generations. This started in the 19th Century with the vigneron Paul Tortochot. The Tortochots became connected with the notable Liébaut family from Morey-Saint-Denis when Paul's son Félix married Louise Liébaut, who aded her family's vineyards in the village to the Tortochot holdings.
