Amaro Montenegro Liqueur 1 L

A liqueur bitters flavoured with 40 botanicals (including liquorice root, nutmeg and sweet and bitter oranges). Amaro Montenegro, "the liqueur of the virtues", was created in 1885 by distiller and herbalist, Stanislao Cobianchi. The name 'Montenegro' is a homage to the second queen of Italy, Princess Elena Petrovic-Njegoš of Montenegro, on occasion of her marriage in 1896 to Victor Emmanuel III, the Italian sovereign at the time.\n\n
